Yvonne loves training in the open water and has been competing in swimming events for __ years now. Yvonne is also the only women in the world to have completed solo crossings of the English Channel, the Cook Straight and Rottnest Island Swim Classic.

To date Yvonne's achievements are:

- Completed a solo crossing of the English Channel in 2005 in a time of 18hrs __ mins.
- Completed a double crossing of the English Channel as a member of 'Team Extreme' in 2001.
- Completed a solo crossing of the Cook Straight in 2001 in a time of 11hrs __ mins.
- Was a sucessful solo competitor in the 2001 Rottnest Island Swim Classic in a time of __
- Sucessfully completed the 2007 'Bloody Big Swim'.
- Sucessfully completed __ Pier to Perignon swim classics.
- Sucessfully completed __ 'Harry Raisbeck'winter mile swim classics.
- Competed in numerous open water events in Victoria over the years.
- Yvonne works as a swimming teacher and personnal trainer.
